THE OFFICIAL HOME OF PINTS NETBALL CLUB
OUR CLUB
The Pints Netball Club prides itself on being able to offer players from all backgrounds and of all skill levels the opportunity to play netball within a well-coordinated, professional, and nurturing environment. Our club’s emphasis is on providing individuals and families with access to the benefits of participation in Australia’s most popular female sport in a healthy, fun, supportive and social environment. Our teams range from the Net Set Go (under 10) to senior Premier League teams. The club has over 110 active senior players and over 150 junior players. In addition, we run our own Net Set Go sessions at times suggested by members. Pints are also one of the very few Netball Clubs to be acknowledged by Good Sports as a leading club in the community for our work done towards responsible alcohol management, drugs in sport, and our safe transport policies, awarding us a Tier 3 level Good Sports Accreditation - the highest level available.
OUR HISTORY
The Pints Netball Club was formed just prior to Cyclone Tracy in 1974. Located at the Postal Institute of the NT (hence ‘PINTS’), we were considered a social club with senior grades from B Grade down to G Grade. We created a junior division in 1985, and by 1992, had 10 junior teams across all age groups. In 1994, the first A Grade side was created and has won 11 premierships between 2001-2022, making us the most successful club in DNA history.
