THE OFFICIAL HOME OF PINTS NETBALL CLUB
LIFE MEMBERS
Our Life Members– Integral members of our club without whom, Pints Netball would not be what it is today. Contributions via playing, umpiring, coaching, fundraising, player development & management team positions - plus many other things. Most you will still find around the courts today!
Annabelle Ami
Life Membership Awarded: 1998

Annabelle was the first ever member of Pints to be awarded life membership - fitting since without her, Pints would likely not exist! Annabelle was an integral part of the growth of Pints in the 1990's and was integral in securing the grant to allow us to build the current club courts. Whilst she has moved away from Darwin, Annabelle's contribution will never be forgotten.
Natasha McCrae
Life Membership Awarded: 2017

Natasha 'Tash' has been a constant figure around Pints since she was a junior following her mum Kathy Kellam (another life member) around the courts. Tash spent her whole juniors at Pints as player and represented the NT on numerous occasions. Debuting in A Grade as a teenager, she has played almost continuously at the top level - taking out Best & Fairest on numerous occasions including in 2009, 2011 & 2018. In 2020, Natasha also won best on court in the grand final which Pints won. Her off court contributions are a mile long. Coaching many senior teams over the past 15-20 years, umpiring and management team member (most notably being one of our longest serving Presidents). Always around the courts supporting and offering advice, she is one of the most passionate Pints members you will meet.
Mardi 'MJ' Jenner
Life Membership Awarded: 2017

Mardi is a long time Pints member - debuting in A grade as a teenager. Playing almost continuously since then, Mardi is still a presence on the court in our Premier League Reserves team. In 2022, she was the DNA runner up Best & Fairest and was awarded best on court in the 2022 grand final.
Aside from being a player, Mardi coaches her daughter in the U11's team and helps out with our NetSetGo programs. She will pick up a whistle now and then as well!
Sarah Bartlett
Life Membership Awarded: 2017

Sarah is part of one of our two mother-daughter life member duos. Similar to mum Yvonne, Sarah's contribution to Pints is unmeasurable. Growing up a Pints junior, Sarah also played seniors for many years at a high level. Sarah is one of the clubs highest accredited coaches and has coached many senior and junior teams. Most recently, she co-coached our U13 Division 1 team who ultimately won the grand final. She has worn many hats - coach, umpire, management team member. Her kindness, mentorship and dedication to the club is second to none. You will still find Sarah down at the courts each week cheering and scoring for her daughter's junior team.
Cathy Deans
Life Membership Awarded: 2020

Cathy Deans has been a player, coach, umpire and committee member. Most notably, it is because of Cathy’s involvement, guidance and construction of a junior program that facilitates growth of all players holistically as a netballer and a person that Pints is so well renowned. The club held a record of the most amount of junior teams for numerous years because of the support and structures in place to welcome players as a family and foster a community that gives back to the growth of themselves and others. Cathy was able to build upon a junior program that encouraged others to contribute to the club and strengthen others around them, girls uplifting girls. As well as giving themselves the confidence they needed to be active, give things a go and have an outlet where they felt important and valued. Our club remains one of the most successful juniors clubs in the DNA competition to this day.
Yvonne Musgrave
Life Membership Awarded: 2020

Yvonne is an integral part of the Pints Netball family, helping to build the club since 1988. She has constantly been involved in umpiring, coaching and management. Her commitment and passion for developing our juniors is second to none.Yvonne has coached almost continually since 1988 across multiple divisions at club level including U17's, A Grade, B Grade, Division 2&3, and has also coached at association level for the TIO/NT Link championships. She has held multiple roles on the management team - junior convenor, secretary, treasurer and most recently, president in 2019 & 2020.
Yvonne sees something that needs to be done and does it. No complaining, no questions. She is supportive of all players and management, allowing for active and safe participation of all.
Kathy Kellam
Life Membership Awarded: 2020

There are no words to describe the immense contribution she has made to the PINTs Netball club over the years - player, coach and committee member. Her commitment and dedication to senior development through a club and association level is remarkable. The great wealth of her experience is still being passed onto players, umpires and coaches of the future in a positive and empowering way. She was part of the A Grade playing group between 1994-2006 and was the coach of Pints A Grade/Premier League for 16 consecutive years, then coming out of retirement for a couple more seasons in 2020 & 2021.
